TodAn imageay the regular meeting of the management council of the Food Safety Inspection Body of the RA was held under the chairmanship of the chairman of the council, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan.

The Head of the Inspection Body Armen Hayrapetyan presented the details of the control carried out in the sphere of food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary, as well as the process of organization of slaughter in slaughterhouses, pointed out the necessity of making amendments to the legislation in order to eliminate legislative gaps and increase the efficiency of the state control.

Cases of intestinal infectious diseases and poisonings caused by food factor, measures taken, results, conclusions and necessary measures to prevent them, as well as necessary regulation of complaints received from the population were discussed.
