The goals of the Ararat marz center:

1) control aimed at the identification, prevention and elimination of diseases common among humans and animals in the marz;

2) Control over the supervision of the epidemiological situation in the territory of the marz, the processes of production, processing, storage, transportation and sale of veterinary controlled products, their storage, transportation and sale;

3) Control over the supervision of the phytosanitary situation in the territory of the marz, the processes of production, processing, storage, transportation and sale of phytosanitary controlled goods, their storage, transportation and sale;

4) state control at the stages of the food chain in the territory of the marz using the principle of traceability.
