The main functions of the division are:

1) Application of the provisions of the general concept of e-governance of the Republic of Armenia in the field of information technology of the inspection body;

2) Studying the best international experience of e-government systems, application of the gained knowledge, implementation and development of a unified e-government system;

3) Identification of existing problems, clarification of objectives and presentation of recommendations in order to develop the information technology of the inspection body.

4) Organization and management of the inspection body's computer networks, uninterrupted and secure operation of servers, maintenance of existing computer equipment, operation of data management centers, and maintenance of the global computer network;

5) Creation of a unified risk management system and assessment of its effectiveness;

6) Digitalization and automation of business processes of the inspection body.
