When applying for the export of natural honey of Armenian production, exported from the RA to the EU, the following documents must be submitted to the regional center:
1. invoice,
2. certificate of origin,
3. declaration of conformity,
4. protocol of laboratory tests (indicators are determined by the exporter, according to the requirements of the importing country),
5. other documents (at the request of the importing country, which the exporter must submit to the regional center or submit to the Inspection body so that the Inspection body can conduct the request).
*** If in the certificate of compliance or veterinary certificate it is necessary to specify information that is absent in the above-mentioned documents submitted by the exporter, the exporter must submit an additional document justifying this information.
*** Before exporting each lot, the exporter is obliged to check the requirements of the importing country, make sure that his product meets the requirements of the importing country, and then contact the Inspection Body to obtain a new document authorizing export.
After submission of documents to the Inspection Body (if there are no discrepancies), the certificate of conformity shall be provided within 1 working day.
Then the exporter creates a single application in the "Permit Documents" system installed on the "RA National Single Window of Foreign Trade" platform, where he attaches documents regarding the above mentioned 5 requirements, as well as the certificate of conformity provided by the Inspection Body.
After ensuring the submitted operations, the Food Safety Inspection Body issues a certificate of health.
Companies exporting honey to the EU must be approved by the competent authorities of the exporting countries (in Armenia - the Food Safety Inspection Body of the RA).
A list of companies that have received a certificate of conformity will be sent to the European Commission and published in the "TRACES" system, which is available at the following link:
https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/tracesnt/directory/listing/establishment/publication/index#!/search?classificationSectionId=HONEY_AND_OTHER_APICULTURE&classificationSectionChapter=food&countryCode=AM .

From November 29, 2024, only companies published on the said website will be able to continue exporting honey.
