The main functions of the division are:

1) establishment, expansion and strengthening of cooperation between authorized bodies of foreign states and international organizations in the field of veterinary medicine, food and feed safety, phytosanitary activities within its competence, with a view to further development of the Inspection Body;

2) ensuring relations of the inspection body with competent authorities of foreign states and international organizations, formation and development of cooperation, implementation of joint and investment projects.

3) Other objectives defined by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
