The Head of the Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia Georgi Avetisyan and the Head of the Phytosanitary Department Artur Nikoyan visited the Armavir Marz to get informed about the phytosanitary situation of the gardens and the works carried out by the land users.

The head of the inspection body got informed about the mechanisms of plant disease control in the farms growing peaches, grapes, apricots in different localities of the marz.

Georgy Avetisyan also listened to the suggestions and concerns of farmers and villagers in the marz and expressed his readiness to provide professional support within the functions of the FSIB. Mr. Avetisyan urged land users to be in constant contact with the inspectors of the Armavir Marz Center of FSIB and properly implement both all plant protection measures and all agro-technical measures.
