1) Introduction of risk information in the food, veterinary and phytosanitary sectors.
2) Creation and maintenance of a database of economic entities operating in the field of food and feed safety, veterinary medicine and phytosanitary.
3) Collection, generalization, analysis and reporting on the results of state supervision.
4) Collection of relevant information, data and reports on complaints, grievances, non-compliance, poisoning, health and danger of animals and plants from state and local authorities, analysis of information.
5) Assessment of riskiness of business entities operating in the field of food, veterinary medicine and phytosanitary, classification by riskiness (high, medium, low).
6) Development of measures for risk reduction and prevention of poisoning and epidemics among animals.
7) Regular study and collection, generalization and analysis of information posted on official and informational websites of the EAEU, EU and other international structures in order to prevent the penetration of dangerous food products, especially dangerous and contagious animal diseases, plant pests into the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
8) Scheduling, collection and generalization of results for the purpose of monitoring within the framework of state control of iodine content in food salt in the Republic of Armenia.
